Connecticut Magazine - Table Talk
Beyond Monet: Elise MaclayIt's a twice-told tale in Tolland. When Monet's Table closed last year, it was quickly reopened and renamed Zest (860-875-7244). With talented chef Carrie Landry in command, it's been winning accolades ever since. Farm-to-table sourcing is chef Landry's culinary mantra but her preparations are internationally inspired. Think miso hazelnut scallops with bok choy, and goat cheese terrine layered with roasted beets and tangerine remoulade, served in a rustic 1750s farmhouse.
